Everyday frustrations. Strong opinions. Occasionally disproportionate reactions. This is PartialMedia’s growing collection of tongue-in-cheek grievances, rooted in real things that annoy us.

Grinding Gears
Small annoyances that have earned more of our attention than they probably deserve.
- The competitive merge. Drivers who treat a merging lane as a competitive sport. We are joining traffic, not defending a title.
- Nissan Altimas and Maximas. An entirely personal automotive grievance. Owners may present their defense in the comments.
NIMP: Not in My Pantry
A highly unofficial movement for products and brands that have worn out their welcome. The pantry has standards. Occasionally, they are even consistent.
- Prego sauce. Surveillance does not belong in pasta. I asked for marinara, not meeting minutes.
The real-world context: Prego partnered with StoryCorps on the Connection Keeper dinner-conversation recorder. StoryCorps says uploading its recordings is optional. This is a jab at the brand’s recording gadget, not a claim that ordinary sauce jars listen to people. Read the partnership and recording FAQ.

Keep it funny, keep it grounded, and leave private information out. Reader comments are their authors’ opinions; selected suggestions may inspire future additions to these lists. A strong counterargument is also welcome. We can occasionally be persuaded.
