US news media election biases

PartialMedia, October 21 — Today we decided to open up several popular US-centrist news websites and scanned their front pages for articles that we in our opinion perceived to be biased against US republican presidential candidate Donald Trump or the US democratic party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, and visa versa, here is what we found:

News Source # of pro Mr. Trump articles # of pro Ms. Clinton articles # of against Mr. Trump articles # of against Ms. Clinton articles
FoxNews.com 1 0 0 4
MSNBC.com 0 1 4 0
CNN.com 0 4 0 0
WashingtonPost.com 0 1 7 0
NBCNews.com 1 1 3 0
Breitbart.com 1 0 0 6
TASS.ru (English)* 2 0 0 0

This snippet is not meant to be scientific in any way. This was meant to simply paint a tiny picture of potential biasing using rudimentary scanning. *TASS.ru English version was chosen as an outlier.

What can we take away from this specific snapshot as presented? Fairly unremarkable nothing new. What we did find interesting is how two news sources can paint a narrative for advancement of their political agendas using the same story.
