A weekly price notebook for DDR5 RAM, NVMe solid-state drives and the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB. This first collection establishes a baseline. It cannot yet show a weekly rise or fall.
This week at a glance
This is a limited retail sample. Six in-stock prices were verified directly at Newegg; the 64GB memory slot has no qualifying price. Amazon returned an error, PCPartPicker displayed a security verification page, and a Best Buy product page failed to load. Those sources have not supplied verified competing offers for this edition.
| Category | Vs. last week | Vs. baseline | Priced slots |
|---|---|---|---|
| DDR5 RAM | Not yet available | Baseline | 2 / 3 |
| SSDs | Not yet available | Baseline | 3 / 3 |
| RTX 5070 Ti 16GB | Not yet available | Baseline | 1 verified offer |
The stock labels in the tables describe the October 29 snapshot. See the release check below for subsequent availability changes. The separate historical lookback is below. Our weekly trend chart awaits comparable observations. Missing prices are not zeroes and are not filled from advertised former prices.
October 30 release check: The five priced RAM and SSD offers remained at the same Newegg prices; the 64GB kit remained out of stock. The MSI card’s $1,179.99 direct-retailer offer could not be reconfirmed: its product page instead selected a third-party seller, and an attempt to select the original Newegg item reached a security verification page. That marketplace offer is excluded. The $1,179.99 entry is retained solely as the verified Thursday observation, not a current available offer. Amazon again returned an error and PCPartPicker again required security verification; neither supplied a confirmed price. No access restriction was bypassed.

The MSI card is the lowest offer verified on an individual product page in this collection, not a verified nationwide minimum. The eligible GPU model stays fixed; the board manufacturer may change. Other listings and unavailable pages do not establish a cheaper qualifying offer.
The past 52 weeks: available price history
Historical research added October 30, 2026. Lookback window: October 31, 2025–October 30, 2026. Source records retrieved through 6:06 p.m. Pacific on October 30. October is a partial month.
Available records show higher late-2026 price ranges for the two memory and storage products below than in November 2025. GPU checks show a sharp early-2026 increase, some easing by July and another rise in August. These are product examples and published snapshots, not an industry-wide index.
This is not a complete set of 52 weekly observations. No exact October 31, 2025 quote was verified. RAM and SSD records begin with November monthly summaries; missing GPU months remain blank. Historical records for the other basket products have not been verified. Our own weekly measurements still begin October 29, 2026.

*Historical sampling: “Source days” reproduces MemRadar’s Days column. Older records capture price changes rather than uniform daily observations; a small count does not prove the price existed for only that many days. Its history can use Amazon’s offer or a new-condition marketplace fallback, with shipping-included Buy Box fallback added in July 2026. Historical seller identity was not retained for every reading. These ranges cannot be reconstructed as our direct-retailer-only, shipping-consistent series. See MemRadar’s methodology (n.d.-b). No values are carried forward here.

TechSpot’s U.S. checks reported $730 in November 2025, $1,000 in February 2026, $990 in April, $960 in July and $1,050 in August. Its method selects the cheapest new, available board at collection, across manufacturers; these are snapshots, not monthly averages. The August report says collection occurred several days before publication. Exact board, seller and shipping details are not supplied for each historical point (Schiesser, 2026a; 2026b).

The red diamond is our separate October 29 observation, not a continuation of TechSpot’s dataset. No line bridges different samples. A board-variant change is not an identical-SKU price cut. No year-over-year percentage is calculated across these differing methods.

Additional retailer checks — October 30, 2026
Additional checks during this editorial review did not produce a qualifying replacement observation. B&H listed the ASUS PRIME RTX 5070 Ti 16GB and ASUS TUF GAMING OC 16GB as temporarily out of stock. A Walmart listing bearing the tracked 64GB G.SKILL SKU was also out of stock and contained conflicting specifications. None supplies a verified in-stock price or fills a missing slot. These later checks do not change the Thursday measurement table or its historical series.

How we track prices
RAM and SSD entries follow exact product models and specifications. The GPU series follows the lowest qualifying observed GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB offer across board manufacturers within the checked sample. We record the exact card so that a change of cooler, factory overclock or manufacturer is not mislabeled as a markdown on an identical card.
Only new products sold directly by the retailer qualify. Marketplace sellers, refurbished and used goods, paid memberships, conditional coupons, trade-ins, financing and required purchase bundles are excluded. We record the public cash price and mandatory standard shipping, before sales tax. Free promotional extras do not reduce the recorded component price.
Every observed offer links to its original product page. A product-page Add to cart control and delivery estimate support the availability label; no order was placed and no checkout price was tested. Shipping is shown for the retailer’s automatically displayed ZIP code, not guaranteed for every address. Search results and price aggregators are discovery tools, not substitutes for a checked offer.
For RAM and SSDs, weekly movement will be the equal-weight mean of percentage changes on matching, priced SKUs; coverage and missing data will be shown. A baseline index will average each eligible SKU’s current-to-baseline price ratio, multiplied by 100. GPU changes compare the consistent model-level entry-price series. Basket replacements and coverage breaks will be disclosed. No weekly or market-wide trend is claimed from this baseline.
Editorial Opinion
The seller line matters as much as the price. These SSD pages initially opened on cheaper marketplace offers; selecting Newegg’s own offer changed the comparison. Mixing those prices without checking the seller would produce an attractive table with an unreliable history.
The missing 64GB price is a limitation to keep visible, not a reason to substitute a slower kit or recycle an old sale price. This tracker should earn its usefulness over successive observations. It does not yet tell us whether the broader market is getting cheaper.
The historical records add useful context, but their seller mix and uneven sampling matter. They support caution about today’s price levels; they do not establish a precise first-party inflation rate or a dependable buying forecast. We should keep those distinctions visible as our own weekly series grows.
