It does not literally label every Arab Israeli a terrorist. That distinction does not make the accusation mild: it places elected parties under an extraordinarily serious political charge, while the broader claim that the election was stolen remains unproven.

What Netanyahu’s post says

The Hebrew statement begins with an attribution to Likud. The key passage refers to parties, rather than the Arab population collectively. The following excerpt was translated from Hebrew using AI and may not be fully accurate:

“The elections in Israel were stolen by Arab parties that support terrorism and the elimination of the Jewish state.”

English summary of the remaining post, based on an AI-assisted reading of the Hebrew that may not be fully accurate: Likud alleges bribery, intimidation, violence, falsification and prohibited voter-mobilization software. It says it is submitting testimony and evidence to police, Shin Bet and the election committee, and demands an immediate investigation and enforcement. These are the party’s assertions, not findings independently established by PartialMedia. Read Netanyahu’s original October 28 post on X.

Embedded from X. JTA reports that election committee acting director-general Dean Livne said the investigation would not affect the results submitted to the president. It also reports denials from Qatar and Ra’am leader Mansour Abbas. An inquiry is grounds to seek evidence; it is not itself evidence that a particular party or community committed the alleged offenses. (Danan, 2026.)

The Times of Israel separately reports that Shin Bet characterized its inquiry as narrow, based on its own intelligence rather than a political party’s submission, and directed at possible unlawful conduct rather than Arab voters collectively. Those accounts must not be collapsed into a choice between declaring every suspicion fabricated and accepting Likud’s sweeping verdict. PartialMedia has not inspected the classified intelligence or adjudicated individual allegations. Our ongoing election report separately explains the completed count and coalition uncertainty; this article addresses the rhetoric and its political implications. (Karmel et al., 2026.)

In an October 31 update, The Jerusalem Post reported that an authorized official source confirmed Mossad would provide an assessment to Shin Bet. The report expressly leaves unclear whether that means investigative findings or an expert opinion. It does not establish that the election was stolen or that a particular party committed an offense. (Bohbot & Jerusalem Post Staff, 2026.)

Editorial Opinion

A conservative should demand evidence, not a loyalty exemption. A country has every right to investigate covert foreign financing, intimidation and electoral corruption. If investigators establish criminal conduct, prosecute the responsible individuals through lawful procedures. Treating election integrity seriously means following the evidence even when it embarrasses your preferred side. It also means refusing to convert an unfinished investigation into a verdict dictated by the politician who stands to benefit.

Netanyahu’s supporters do not owe him a blank check. Conservatism at its best puts the continuity of the nation and its institutions above the career of an incumbent. A security-minded voter can reject extremist politics and still insist that lawful citizens retain equal political rights. Voting against the governing coalition does not establish terrorist sympathy. A party’s conduct and platform can be criticized on their merits; ancestry cannot substitute for evidence.

Precision is part of accountability. We should not turn an accusation against Arab parties into a quotation calling every Arab Israeli a terrorist. That would give Netanyahu a legitimate objection to an inaccurate headline’s implication and distract from the actual charge he chose to circulate. The precise accusation is serious enough to scrutinize. The question is what supports it, which specific actors are implicated, and whether a competent authority has established wrongdoing.

There is also an obvious political incentive worth examining without pretending to read his mind. If cooperation with Arab representatives becomes politically toxic, opponents may find it harder to assemble parliamentary support. That is a plausible effect of this rhetoric, not proof of Netanyahu’s private intentions or a prediction of the next government. The investigation must not become a convenient excuse to declare lawful opposition illegitimate before evidence is tested.

For Americans, the standard should be America First. Washington should evaluate any requests for diplomatic backing, aid or military cooperation against American interests and documented conduct. Supporting Israel’s security does not require endorsing every accusation made by its prime minister. American taxpayers and service members are not instruments of an allied politician’s survival strategy. Friendship should permit frank scrutiny, not demand partisan obedience.

The right response is straightforward: investigate specific evidence, punish proven offenses, respect lawful votes and judge leaders by whether they can meet those standards when power is at stake. None of that requires excusing genuine security threats. All of it requires distinguishing a citizen, a party and a terrorist organization.

The reply section supplies the punch line

Two replies visible near the top of the thread when reviewed take the argument into meme territory. X’s ordering can vary; these selected reactions are neither an opinion poll nor evidence that establishes or refutes election fraud.

Thomas Massie: “Sure, Jan.”

Massie’s October 28 reply uses a reaction GIF displaying those two words.
